Reflecting on Séries Mania: how AI is practically integrating into series creation today, and why the stakes have already changed.
Last week, we were at Séries Mania.
A place apart.
Because you cross paths with those who are making series today — and above all, those who are trying to understand what they will be tomorrow.
In this context, Salomé Anfray spoke at the Innovation Hub to present what we do at Genario Studio.
Not a theoretical vision.
Not a promise.
Something concrete.
How AI actually integrates into a production.
At what moments.
With what tools.
And above all: with what limitations.
AI is no longer an abstract question
What emerged very clearly from these discussions is that the subject has changed.
We are no longer asked:
“Does AI have a place in creation?”
But rather:
“How do we integrate it without breaking what makes a project?”
This is an important shift.
Because it moves the discussion from fantasy to implementation.

What we shared
During this talk, we showed how AI can fit into an existing workflow:
→ upstream, to explore and structure a project
→ during development, to test, iterate, and refine
→ in production, to open up new visual possibilities
But with a simple rule:
the tool must adapt to the project — not the other way around.
The challenge is not to go faster at all costs.
It is to build better.

An ecosystem in motion
Throughout the discussions, one thing became very clear:
Teams are moving forward.
They are testing.
They are searching.
Some are still cautious.
Others are already experimenting in very practical terms.
But they all share the same need:
to understand how to use these tools without losing their high standards.
And that is exactly where we come in.
The role of Genario Studio
At Genario Studio, we work on these questions every day.
With authors.
With producers.
With creative teams.
Our role is not to impose a technology.
But to create the conditions for it to integrate intelligently into an existing process.
Without altering a project.
Without bypassing the writing.
Without oversimplifying.
Our takeaways
Séries Mania confirms one thing:
The market is ready.
The tools are there.
Practices are beginning to structure themselves.
The questions are becoming concrete.
And that is precisely when choices matter.
If you are working on a project and asking yourself these questions,
we would be delighted to discuss it!
