Is AI a threat to creativity? Watch the appearance of David, founder of Genario Studio, on the show Sens Public on Public Sénat. A plea for copyright and technological innovation.

The debate is open: is AI the executioner or the ally of artists?

Should we fear artificial intelligence in the world of culture? This was the core debate of the show "Sens Public" on Public Sénat, where David, founder of Genario Studio, was invited to confront his vision with major players of the political and cultural scene:

  • Laure Darcos, senator and rapporteur for the law on the exploitation of content by AI.

  • Cécile Rap-Veber, director of Sacem.

  • Jean-Sébastien Ferjou, publishing director of Atlantico.

At a time when technology seems to be moving faster than the law, David carried a clear message: AI is not the artist's enemy, it is their next major step.

Do not confuse the tool with pillaging

For Genario, it is crucial to distinguish between two subjects that are often confused: the technology itself and the practices of Big Tech.

"The real scandal is not AI. It is the pillaging of works to train models without compensating the authors," David pointed out on set. Genario's fight lies precisely there: protecting creator rights without ever stifling their creativity. Artificial intelligence does not replace the artist; it shifts the boundaries of what is possible. Just as the camera revolutionized storytelling in the last century, AI now allows a new generation of "AI-native" creators to emerge.

From Cannes to Public Sénat: Genario's vision

Recently serving as a jury member at the World AI Film Festival in Cannes alongside Agnès Jaoui, David was able to witness this surge of new talent. These creators do not wait for permission: they build, they invent, they tell stories.

At Genario, we support this transformation. Our mission is to provide authors with the necessary tools so that AI can be a driver of structure, inspiration, and narrative freedom.

Why is this important to us?

As a player in the French Tech ecosystem, it is our duty to actively participate in the regulation and understanding of these issues. We believe in ethical AI, at the service of humanity, which allows every author to transform an idea into a major work.
