A major figure in French and international cinema, Agnès Jaoui will preside over the jury of the WAIFF 2026. As a director, screenwriter, and actress, her work spans theater and cinema with recognized artistic excellence, a sensitive intelligence, and a constant focus on stories and characters. Her presence embodies the spirit of the festival: a demanding, humanistic, and open-minded perspective on new forms of creation, at a key moment of transition for images and narratives.
Accreditations for the second edition of WAIFF 2026 are now open!
Co-organized by Genario, the World AI Film Festival (WAIFF) returns for a second edition on April 21 and 22, 2026, at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes.
WAIFF stands out as an international event dedicated to new forms of cinematographic and audiovisual creation in the era of artificial intelligence.
A space for dialogue, exploration, and reflection, bringing together filmmakers, authors, producers, artists, engineers, institutions, and researchers.
Conceived from the very beginning in close connection with industry key players, the festival does not celebrate technology for its own sake, but questions what it transforms in writing, directing, production, and storytelling.
